Jerry Hilecher, President of Gateway Telnet recently announced Patrick Chriquí's new position in the company. "Gateway Telnet has wanted to increase their position in the IT Managed Services environment and with Patrick on our team, we will be able to provide our customers the same levels of services in the IT world as they have experienced with our Voice communications programs," as stated by Mr. Hilecher. Patrick has more than 20 years experience in information technology, software development and client support.

Patrick's experience includes starting a computer consulting company which provided IT administration, management and consultation services. Prior to starting his company, Patrick worked for a few internet start-up companies and led an IT department for the subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company. He has participated in various cross-functional teams providing expertise in network infrastructure setup as well as database design. He has worked on various projects including the migration from traditional physical servers to fully virtualized environments, multiple Microsoft Exchange migrations to the cloud, the deployment of a new SEO/SEM engine, design of numerous SharePoint sites with both internal and external access, and directed an infrastructure project to relocate an office with over 125 users .

His experience includes, but not limited to, Windows servers\desktops, MAC, Linux as well as many third party software applications. He has worked with businesses of all sizes and assisted them in obtaining the appropriate resources while managing tight budgets.

Patrick also gives back to the community by being a board member and Treasurer of a non-profit organization. Patrick has the ability to translate complex technical issues into plain language which will make him an invaluable asset to Gateway's IT division.
